Fethia Zrari is a highly accomplished and dedicated educator with nearly 30 years of experience in the teaching profession. Throughout her career, she has assumed various roles, including tutor, lecturer, trainer, and mentor. She was the founder of Medway Arabic School, which ran for 7 years providing serving her local Muslim community in Medway and the rest of Kent. The school has taught Arabic language and imparted the knowledge of the Holy Quran, whilst ensuring that the students sustained a proactive and integrated role within their British lives and communities.
Fethia’s commitment to her community is evident through her active involvement with local charities. Fethia’s dedication to community service reflects her belief in the importance of social responsibility as well as making a positive impact on others.
With a strong background in the Arabic language and Islamic studies, Fethia Zrari conducted various and meticulous research, she has identified, reviewed, and sourced up-to-date and appropriate resources to meet the educational and spiritual needs of British Muslim youth today.
Since 2015, Fethia’s innovative and holistic teaching methods have positively impacted over 400 young people in Medway and Kent, providing them with a comprehensive Islamic education. Her groundbreaking approach has transformed the learning experience, enabling students to thrive academically and spiritually.
In addition to her expertise in the Arabic language teaching, Fethia is a qualified ESOL Lecturer (English for Speakers of Other Languages) with extensive experience working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds in the UK. Recognising the importance of English language skills, she now offers online English courses for individuals seeking to improve their proficiency in the language.
Furthermore, Fethia’s passion for supporting others extends to her roles as an approved mental first aider for schools and an Advanced Therapeutic Practitioner. Fethia is also the creator of the Muslim Gift Box to support Muslim children in care. Her expertise in emotional well-being allows her to help children and young adults overcome emotional issues, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
Fethia’s proven track record in developing and applying innovative teaching techniques and materials has not only educated her students but also created interest, understanding, and enthusiasm among them.
During the pandemic, Fethia’s dedication to assisting others led her to create a FREE online ESOL classes on Facebook specifically for women. The course gained significant popularity, and Fethia received fantastic feedback from participants who were struggling with the English language. While Medway Arabic School has now closed its physical location. Her primary focus has shifted to helping people through classes, workshops, and soon-to-be-launched online training courses for individuals studying the ESOL program and seeking to pass their UK citizenship examinations with proficiency in speaking and writing the English language.
